TMA welcomes students who are ready to learn, lead, serve, and grow in a community shaped by the Marshall standard.
Entry points
Middle school
TMA admits new sixth-grade students each fall through the NYC Public Schools application process. Applications are typically available in late November and due in December.
Admitted students participate in a five-week summer enrichment institute before beginning sixth grade.
High school
TMA uses a screened selection method for ninth-grade admissions. Priority is given first to eligible continuing eighth-grade students, then to District 5 applicants, and then to Manhattan applicants.
